A fitness ladder is known as a basic horizontal ladder that is laid on the ground. It is typically used for speed and agility training for sports and fitness. It also generally consists of rope and flat pieces that make up the sides and rungs. A budget ladder can easily be assembled in one's backyard using materials that can readily be found at any home improvement store. Written below are some guidelines on how to construct one.

Before purchasing the items to make your ladder, figure out how many rugs you will want to have and how wide to make each of them. This contraption is generally 10 to 12 rungs long, with each rung measuring about 18 inches wide and spaced 18 inches apart. When purchasing PVC pipes, buy enough to be able to make each rung and purchase enough rope to make the sides of the ladder.
After gathering the necessary materials, cut the pipe down to the desired length. Next, place a piece of masking tape around each end and drill a hole that is about an inch from the edge. Thread the rope through one end of a piece of pipe. Make sure to slide in at least 20 feet of rope through the hole. Once it has gone all the way through, tie a knot right before and after the pipe. Repeat this procedure with the rest of the PVC pieces.
Finally, measure out and cut another piece of rope that is equal in length to the other side of the ladder. You can now string that through each of the PVC pipe. Finish it off by tying each end to prevent fraying.
